This photo was taken for the pattern and texture assignment. What I like about this photo is how you can see the spider web and it focuses on the tree. My point of view was looking directly at it and close up to see the textures of the plant and spider web.. The photo Follows the rule of thirds because the spider web is almost in the middle . The depth of field is f4. The ISO was set to 200 and the White Balance was direct sunlight.
Looking at this photo, the compositional element that is most apparent is texture. There is also pattern seen.. When I edited this photo, I adjusted the color and the level of it. The camera was set to 400 iso. This photo communicates/reminds me of/ makes me think of texture because you can really see the bumps on the drain.
This photo was taken for the aperture assignment. What I like about this photo is how the piano is focused with the blurred background. My point of view was straight on. The photo Follows the rule of thirds because the piano is in the bottom thirds while the chairs are in the top thirds. The depth of field is f5 The ISO was set to 1600 and the White Balance was tungsten.
I selected this photo because I liked the darkness and angle. Compositionally, there is a lot of color because of Cobys outfit. To take this photo I had the camera set on 1/20(shutter speed) and on f5.
technical: The shutter speed for this picture was on a slower shutter speed. The room was dark and we used light sticks for the pictures. artistic: I really liked how this picture looked with the new colors I chose. compositional: color, line
technical: This picture was shot with a fast shutter speed and an iso around 1200. compositional: shape artistic: I liked this picture because it looks like Dylan is about to catch the ping pong ball but he actually dropped it.
